Summer Grilling: Part II Beer Can Chicken & Useful Grill Tips By Kirk Leins
To conclude my homage to the summer barbecue, I thought it would be best to hand out some utilitarian advice, painted in broad strokes, as opposed to a tutorial on a specific recipe or technique. The reason is that barbecuing/grilling is a huge subject, one that no chef or food writer on this planet could completely tackle in two articles. To concentrate on one area of grilling wouldn’t be fair to you, the reader, or the subject of grilling. In that spirit, here are some great tips to improve your overall barbecue-ability. But first, here is the recipe for Beer Can Chicken, which I prepared in the video!

1031 Exchange Deferring Taxes Through Real Estate
Invest your money, watch it grow, and then sell off the investment. It sounds like a great idea…until you write a big check to the IRS on the gain. Seems inevitable, right? While in most situations this may be true, it’s not the case for certain types of real estate transactions. Real estate has proven itself to be not only a profitable investment but a reliable one as well. For anyone who’s taken advantage of these gains over the last few years (and will be selling their investment property soon), it would be easy to imagine that Uncle Sam is rubbing his hands together in anticipation of the tax receipts.

School has started, and along with a brand new curriculum, your child may also be facing challenges outside the classroom. If you are the parent of a pre-teen or teenager, chances are your son or daughter is beginning to deal with certain issues for the first time. From drugs and alcohol to sex and violence, today’s teens have some tough decisions to make. The question is, how can your influence steer them towards the right choices? Visual Coordination: Perfecting the Look and Feel of Your Home
Anyone who’s worked with a real estate agent to sell a home is probably familiar with the term "staging". For those who haven’t heard of it, staging is the cultivated practice of making a home visually pleasing to a wide variety of people while, at the same time, improving the chances of an expedient sale. Staging usually involves de-cluttering each room of the house, even depersonalizing it to some extent. A home that’s cluttered looks smaller, and a home that’s over-personalized makes it difficult for potential homebuyers to envision it any other way.

Combat Identity Theft Before It Happens to You By Linda Ferrari President, Credit Resource Corp.
Ten years ago, the term "Identity Theft" sounded like the twisted plot of a strange "B" movie. Today it is one of the fastest growing crimes in the country. Perpetrators range from individual thieves who successfully rip off bank account numbers and credit cards to full-blown, sophisticated operations that are responsible for pilfering hundreds of thousands of consumer files. In this past year alone, we’ve seen 450,000 consumer files classified as "breached" by LexisNexis®, while Bank of America “lost track of” 1.2 million back-up files.

Understanding Goals & How They Work By Jason Womack
You can experience anything you want. Goals, dreams, and wishes do come true. But first, you need to see the outcome – and believe it.
When you read the previous paragraph, did you think to yourself, “Yeah, right…What does this guy know?” We all experience this type of “self-talk”, and its impact may be more significant than you think. Self-talk is the inner dialog you have about the outside world and how it relates to you. Studies suggest that up to 70% of our self-talk is negative, and this actively undermines our natural abilities. Researchers have studied the effects of self-talk, anxiety, and outcome-based performance, and their correlation is staggeringly simple.
